Made smart September 3, 2010 Kelley Greene This fits well in the fridge, is tough and easy to handle. And yes, it's glass (except for the plastic lid). If you pour too fast, there can be a drip or two, but this pitcher is just what we want for our organic drinks. Holds a large amount of liquid and yet can slip into the fridge without any problem. Washes fine in the dishwasher (lid on top rack) or by hand (I have big hands, but they fit inside to scrub just fine.). I'm getting my third today.
Great for the fridge door! August 10, 2010 Honest Reviewer (Lutz, FL) Out with the plastic and back to the glass! I do love this pitcher. It takes up little space in the fridge door, and the handle makes it so easy to pick up and pour. If you have carpal tunnel or tendonitis in the hand, you need this one with the handle (they make one without a handle). The only thing I wish these pitchers had was a tightly sealed lid. You cannot shake this bottle up if the contents have settled or separated without making a mess. You will have to remove the lid and stir. Therefore, I would not recommend this pitcher for nut milks since they separate and need to be shaken up every time you pour a glass. It is great for lemonade or other juices. Cranberry juice with sliced apples makes for a great presentation in this great looking pitcher!
This isn't a thermos! August 7, 2010 puddytat For those who complain that it's not water-tight, let me say: this is a PITCHER. Many pitchers don't have tops at all. If you want something that's water-tight, get a thermos. I have no spills or drips when I pour.
best refrigerator pitcher ever August 6, 2010 K. C. King (Los Angeles, CA USA) This pitcher lives up to the best reviews I read before ordering it. It is slim, so it takes up less room in the refrigerator, and it holds a lot without being heavy. It pours very well. I don't understand the reviewer who talked about leaking-- when it's very full and has the lid on, you need to pour slowly, but you can pour fast when it's less full. If you take the lid off, you can pour as fast as you want no matter how full it is. The slimness also works well for positioning in the dishwasher. I am going to order another one today.
No more plastic July 31, 2010 Jennifer H. Leck (Bedford, NH) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Wanted a nice glass pitcher instead of plastic. This is a great size for the fridge. And so reasonable.
